Native Bass
Found in good numbers in the Nepean/Hawkesbury
river system. These hard fighting fish are found in the Nepean and
average approx. 30cm, but larger fish over 50cm have been landed.
Great fun on surface lures, but there are a couple of secrets to
getting them, Steve will guide you through it and even
supply his favourite surface lures. Best time is September through
to May with the peak time over summer. Winter fishing in the lower
parts of the Nepean is also worth wetting a line for.

Mullet
Under rated fighting fish; plentiful in supply
all along the Nepean. Grow to large size with 3kg fish not that
uncommon. Not hard to land and Steve will show you how
and where to get them. Will give you a great fight, especially when
you hook a bigin' on light gear, a whole lotta fun!

Carp
Our English friends love going carp fishing. Grow
to very large size of approx 1 metre and upto 20kg's, try getting
them in on a light threadline! As they are a pest, all carp landed
must be destroyed and removed well away from the river, as there
are loads of 'em in the Nepean.

Freshwater Herring
These little buggers are all up and down the Nepean
and are also fun to land, and you will probably pull in a few waiting
on the big mullet bite. Kiss 'em and toss 'em back so they can fatten
up the bass.
